Unconditional love is the way our Father God loves us, giving it to us freely so that we can freely share our unconditional love with others.
Too often these days, people get divorced over small stuff, faults, or habits of the one they used to love. If they loved unconditionally, then the small stuff wouldn’t matter. They would continue to love anyway.
They would work on the larger problems and would fight to save that marriage and not just fighting.
Whenever there is a terrible disaster, like a hurricane or tsunami, people open their hearts and their pocketbooks and spread a wave of unconditional love that will comfort and help many in trouble.
The love you pour out comes back to you ten fold. We need to prioritize what is important to you and work on that.
Why is it we can unconditionally love persons on the other side of the globe, whom we don’t even know, but we refuse to give unconditional love in our everyday relationships?
